The three bags that make up the line of lightweight Reno bags, available November 1, includes an 18 litre shoulder case that can fit a DSLR with a medium zoom lens attached, an extra lens, and accessories; a 34 litre sling bag that can fit a DSLR with lens attached, a flash unit, a tablet, a monopod, and accessories; and a 48 litre backpack also capable of fitting a DSLR with lens, four additional lenses, a flash unit, a monopod, a tablet and accessories. The shoulder case also comes in 22 litre, the backpack comes in 45 litres and 41 litres.

The bags are available in blue, orange and khaki/green colour schemes, and have a casual look that doesn’t advertise that the contents might contain expensive camera gear. But since they are in fact gear bags, they include camera gear inserts, side buckles that can provide greater volume or tighten a load, and safe yet easily accessible zips handy for when a frame unexpectedly presents itself (particularly with the shoulder cases top access).

But don’t let the appearance fool you into thinking these bags are simply for those planning a day trip – the design is made with durability and comfort in mind, with ripstop nylon construction and a waterproof cover for when caught in the rain. The backpack has a breathable suspension system, a harness system, and 10 adjustment points ideal for those extra long hauls.

All the inserts can also be easily removed, effectively turning a ‘gear bag’ into an ‘everyday bag’.

The prices start at $34.95 for the 18 litre shoulder case, up to $119.95 for the 48 litre backpack.
