Melbourne pro equipment reseller Specular has announced its appointment as the new Australian distributor for Mamiya Leaf.

The new appointment comes in the wake of the Photokina release of the new Leaf Credo 50 digital back, sporting the increasingly well-regarded Sony 50-megapixel CMOS chip (44x33mm) with a sensivity range from ISO 100 – 6400. It generates 14-bit colour depth RAW files that are upwards of 50MB in size, and has an exposure range from 1/10,000th sec up to 60 minutes.

The Credo 50 supports live view through the built-in 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD as well as through a connected computer using either Firewire 800 or USB 3.0.

An extensive range of Mamiya Leaf products, including camera bodies, digital backs and a wide range of lenses are now in stock at the Specular showroom in Collingwood.
