Canon Masters event series announced

Canon has announced a new series of photographic seminars and workshops delivered directly by Canon Masters, kicking off with Richard I’Anson and Krystle Wright. .

The first event entitled, ‘To the ends of the Earth’, will be held in Melbourne and Sydney is early March. (Details below).

Richard I’Anson’s travel photography for Lonely Planet and other high-profile clients needs no introduction, while extreme sports photographer Krystle Wright was recently featured in a Photo Review profile.

‘The Canon Masters Series is a one-of-a-kind learning experience putting you face to face with the shooters at the top of their game,’ manager of Canon professional segments, James Wilson said.
‘Nothing beats hearing the stories behind award-winning portfolios and then learning techniques used to take them straight from the photographer’

The workshop groups will be limited in numbers, with both hosts explaining the stories behind their photos while also giving insight into the composition, lighting and exposure, capturing movement and subject nature. Attendees will have the opportunity to use professional Canon equipment at the workshop.

The seminars will feature tell-all stories from Ms Wright and Mr l’Anson who have both travelled extensively for their work.

More workshops and seminars hosted by the Canon Masters will be announced as they are confirmed.

Workshop – Tuesday, March 4, 9am – 4:30pm, Media House, Collins St, Melbourne. Tickets are $150 per person and are available here.
